'Mantykora' is the compelling new release from Ukrainian electronic music painter, Lugovskiy. A unique balance of melodious introspection and dance floor excitement, 'Mantykora' pays homage to its mythical namesake, presenting two dynamic interpretations for home and club listening.

Born and raised in Luhansk, Ukraine, Sasha Lugovskiy’s now living in Kiyv. Lugovskiy likes change and progress. In this turbulent time, his music is vibrant and keeps on going. Together with fellow producers and collaborators, Chocollab & Rushkeys, Lugovskiy aims to rejuvenate the underground house music scene in his adopted city Kiyv by throwing club nights themselves.

"Creating music is a journey aimed at self-discovery, a journey into the unknown, a lot like facing a mythical creature. It's about challenging yourself and turning that tension into something you can dance to. I want to share that journey with the audience", says Lugovskiy.

'Mantykora' presents a balance of melody and dancefloor groove that truly captures my evolving and progressive style." It’s equally hypnotic and pulsating. The duality of "Mantykora" reflects Lugovskiy's vision for music to be an immersive, interactive experience akin to witnessing art in a museum.

With a career spanning 15 years, Sasha has garnered international recognition with releases on esteemed labels like SIZE Records, Nervous, and clipp.art, while his sounds have graced the airwaves of BBC Radio 1, Triple J, and KEXP. His talent extends beyond music production, as he was part of a pilot project for Xbox by Microsoft and contributed to the soundtrack of an HBO series.
